How to keep busy while poor in the vermont winter

So Pat lost his job in December, just before Christmas. Kind of scary for us financially, but its also been really good for us to spend more time together. Couple that situation with the fact that Priya ALWAYS resists going outside, and its a recipe for cooped-up-ness. Its a constant struggle for me to learn how to be happy spending almost all of my time at home, but I am learning to be more at peace with it.
